You want local bot policies and activity review, with optional blocklists informed by participating WordPress sites and Linux servers. If you administer the host, Warden can receive plugin reports and enforce IP blocks at the firewall.
Choose AIOS when…

File-change detection and malware scanning answer different questions
A change notice tells you a file differs from an earlier version. It does not, by itself, tell you whether that change is malicious. AIOS Free includes file-change detection; its Premium edition adds malware scanning.
Witen checks WordPress core against official checksums, watches content-file changes, and includes bundled suspicious-pattern checks. A finding needs investigation: custom code can trigger a match, and a clean scan does not prove a site is uncompromised. Witen does not automatically clean infections.
What costs money with Witen?
The software downloads and local protection are free to use. An optional hosted account adds shared IP intelligence and reports from enrolled systems.

AIOS has a free plugin and annual Premium licenses with different site allowances. Compare the current plans and renewal prices against the features you need. Premium malware scanning and monitoring serve a different purpose from Witen’s hosted IP intelligence.
Review the services you connect
Witen’s local controls need no account. Enrollment enables reports containing IP addresses, request metadata, authentication events, attempted usernames, and site details. File-content uploads are a separate option. Its external-service disclosures also cover WordPress checksum lookups.
The AIOS directory listing says its security IP records are stored on your server. Premium scanning, monitoring, and update licensing have separate service requirements. Review those features and TeamUpdraft’s privacy information.
Start with the controls you actually use
If AIOS already handles two-factor authentication, login URLs, or server rules, account for those settings before introducing another plugin. Test login, forms, and scheduled jobs on staging, and keep a backup of any server configuration you change.
